Each year your Beef Checkoff supports many events and activities around the state of Missouri. Please visit our Calendar of Events to learn more.
- Advertising—the famous voice of Sam Elliott!
- Funding Research about beef's tenderness and consumer appeal.
- Partnerships with key health professionals such as the Missouri Dietetic Association -Partnerships with major grocery chains, especially during Summer Grilling and Holiday Roast seasons.
- Media Relations—television appearances and desk-side visits with food editors.
- Educational Activities—checkoff funded classroom materials are in about 90% of Missouri school districts.
-"Fit for A Princess" through the Girl Scouts -Show Me Shape Up and the Show-Me State Games -Training Programs for restaurants to educate waitstaff about the product they serve.
- The "Beef Showcase" at the Missouri State Fair.
